Building an Interactive Video Application that Sticks Driving increased ARPU with minimal investments is a key issue with global service providers. In today's tech-savvy world, the mobile phone has evolved into a ready-made entertainment device delivering television shows, live video clips, video mail, and games. This presentation will provide a cook book of considerations for building and deploying these applications with a focus on NMS's Vision family. Featured Presenter: Dr. Otto Schmidbauer, Director, Sales Engineering, Europe, NMS
The Evolution of Signaling Challenges abound for application developers and equipment providers creating communications solutions that must interoperate with the large installed base of traditional wireless and PSTN networks — particularly when it comes to signaling. As these solutions evolve to support the requirements of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and other next generation networks, Sigtran and BICC are two of the signaling protocols that are emerging to support this diverse network landscape. This session discusses the basics of Sigtran and BICC and how NMS will provide you with enabling technologies to address evolving network architectures.
Featured Presenter: Dan Rothschild, Director, Engineering, NMS
Accelerating Application Development Super Session VoiceXML, CCXML, and MSML are all examples of new solution creation paradigms that leverage and exploit web-based models for value added services in a converged world. This session will explore the advantages of media-based markup languages. It will cite examples of XML scripts for multimedia applications and present NMS’s strategy for rapid development of video and voice applications for converged networks.
Featured Presenter: Roland Auckenthaler, Sales Engineer, NMS
