Analog Station Interfaces
The CX 2000 Series provides high-density analog station (operator workstation) interfaces for use with the AG and CG families of trunking and digital signal processing (DSP) resource platform products. The CX 2000 may be configured with up to 32 station interfaces in PCI format and up to 48 station interfaces in CompactPCI (cPCI) format. The CX 2000 includes the H.100/H.110 bus to support switching of voice paths with trunk boards or any H.100/H.110 timeslot. An external power supply is required to provide loop current and/or ringing voltage to local telephones from the CX 2000 station ports. One configuration includes an on-board ring generator for on-premise extensions. The high density of station ports saves valuable PCI and cPCI slots in PBX configurations and call center and telemarketing applications such as inbound and outbound calling and customer service.
