Natural Access

Course Description
This course describes the features, functionality and architecture of the Natural Access software development tools. Lectures provide a fundamental understanding of Natural Access Core features and functionality. Topics include the most commonly used services that provide switching, tone detection, call control, message recording and playback, and configuration management functions. Hands-on exercises include installing, configuring and testing the software and AG boards and developing short programs to illustrate use of the various services.

Modules

Natural Access Core
This module provides an introduction to the Natural Access Core software architecture, operations and basic functions.

Configuration & Test Procedures
This module explains how to install and configure AG boards using either oamsys or agmon utilities. It includes hands-on practice installing and configuring AG boards and Natural Access software.

ADI Service
The capabilities and functions of the ADI service API, such as tone detection, play and record, are presented in this module.

NCC Service
The capabilities and functions of the Natural Call Control service API are presented in this module. ADI to NCC migration issues and tips are also discussed.

VCE Service
The capabilities and functions of the Voice Message (VCE) Service API, such as playing and recording messages, are presented in this module.

Switching (SWI, PPX, and swish)
Switching concepts and the capabilities and functions of two Natural Access Service APIs, Switching (SWI) and Point-to-Point Switching (PPX ) are presented in this module.
