To override these settings for a given TAPI application, call lineDevSpecific from the application as described in Section 5.2, Using lineDevSpecific. For instructions on how to make TAPI parameters take effect, refer to Section 5.1.1, Making Parameter Changes Take Effect.

Function ParametersTop of Page

The following table lists the function parameters used by TAPI to control the behavior of their associated function calls. For a detailed discussion of parameter management in Natural Access, refer to the Natural Access Developer's Reference Manual, ADI Service Developer's Manual, or ADI Service Developer's Manual.

Trunk Control Program ParametersTop of Page

The sections provide a list of protocol structures and shows the protocol and board combinations the protocol structures can be used with. All protocol parameters are used when the protocol is started. Protocols are started when the NMS TAPI function lineOpen is called if the Start Protocol checkbox is selected in the Advanced System-Level Configuration Dialog box.

For more information, refer to Section 5.2.3, Specifying lineOpen Behavior.

The following tables list the Trunk Control Program (TCP) parameters.
