1.1 About AG Access

AG Access is a C function library that enables application programs to execute multiple telephony functions on Natural MicroSystems (NMS) Alliance Generation (AG) family of hardware. Functions include call control, voice record and playback, digit (DTMF) collection, as well as other generator and detector capabilities.
The AG Access environment gives you a standard interface to use resources on NMS telephony boards. By using the extensive telephony functions in AG Access along with the Natural Media libraries, you can develop a comprehensive range of telephony applications.
The Natural Access products include AG Access and CT Access. AG Access (Alliance Generation Access) is a library of functions for developing telephony applications with Natural MicroSystems AG boards. CT Access (Computer Telephony Access) is a development environment providing standard programming interfaces for telephony functions that are hardware independent.
The Natural Media products include libraries for developing fax, speech recognition, and text-to-speech applications.
Natural Platforms are NMS boards that provide network connections and processing resources.
