3.7 Service Interruption

- AG Access detects service interruption and informs the application by generating
an out-of-service event (ADIEVN_OUT_OF_SERVICE). These events are rare and
are protocol-dependent. The application cannot place or receive calls while the
line is in the out-of-service state. When the line resumes normal operation, AG
Access generates an in-service event (ADIEVN_IN_SERVICE).
- Note: The out-of-service event can be generated in any call control state except
connected and while blocking calls.
