AG Access maintains an internal DTMF digit queue to store digits that have been entered by the remote party. If the application is not actively collecting digits via adiCollectDigits, any DTMFs entered by the remote party are appended to the queue in FIFO (first-in, first-out) order, as illustrated in Figure 22.

The digit is stored in the FIFO when the ADIEVN_DIGIT_BEGIN is received. If the FIFO is full when the ADIEVN_DIGIT_BEGIN arrives, the oldest digit is discarded and the latest digit is queued. The FIFO can hold 64 digits.
