6.1 MC1 Commands
The MC1 board supports all the standard MVIP-90 driver commands. In addition, there are four special commands available to the MC1 board which are accessible using SwitchPath:

MC1_CONFIG
Configures MC1 output streams and enables watchdog timer
MC1_CONFIG_CLOCK
Configures MC1 clocking
MC1_QUERY_CONFIG
Retrieves output streams and watchdog timer configuration
MC1_QUERY_STATUS
Retrieves clocking configuration and error status
SwitchPath provides API functions to control switches, make and break connections, issue conferencing commands, and more. You can work with named logical groups of channels on named switches. SwitchPath can also maintain a database of group names, switch names, and switch connections.
SwitchPath functions interface to the MC1 board driver, which in turn controls the board.
SwitchPath is a separate Natural MicroSystems product which may not be included in your driver software package. To order SwitchPath, contact Natural MicroSystems. For more information on SwitchPath, refer to the

To invoke the MC1 SwitchPath commands, use the
CxDriverCommand
function. Pass the command name and appropriate parameters to this function.
Note: In SwitchPath version 1.1 for OS/2, the
CxDriverCommand
function is not referenced in
swpath.lib
. Obtain the latest versions of
swpath.h
and
swpath.lib
by contacting Developer's Support or by downloading the files from the Natural MicroSystems bulletin board.
