About This Manual

This manual: Explains how to configure and install an AG-T1 or AG-E1 board, and connect it to the network. Shows how to edit the AG configuration file for your setup. Provides procedures for verifying that your installation is operational. Describes T1 and E1 transmissions, and how the AG-T1 and AG-E1 interface with these trunks and with the MVIP bus.
This document is targeted to developers of telephony and voice applications who are using CT Access or AG Access. This document defines telephony terms where applicable, but assumes that you are familiar with C programming and with MVIP switching. To learn more about MVIP switching, see Getting Started With MVIP Switching.
