1.3 About This Manual

This manual explains how to configure and install an AG Connect board, and how to install the driver software under various operating systems. The manual also explains how to control the board using SwitchPath or SW Utility functions, and documents the demonstration scripts that come with the driver software.

1.3.1 Document Conventions

Example	Description
filename	Bold italic Times Roman indicates a placeholder for information that must be supplied, such as file names or variables.
CxDriverCommand	Bold Times Roman indicates a function name.
[option]	Square brackets indicate optional items.
`int`	Helvetica is used for data types and data structure names.
`SUCCESS`	All uppercase Helvetica indicates parameter names, error codes, return codes, and packet names.
`agmon`	Monospace font indicates a code example or user input.
. . .	Ellipses indicate that part of an example program is intentionally omitted.
`swext.h,` `tcp`	Italicized monospace font indicates a file name or the name of a utility.
