6.2 Setting Up Your System For Demos

Before you run any of the demonstration programs, set up your system as described in this procedure:

  1. Install the ME/2/X or AG Access software package. 

    
To learn how to install this software, see the documentation that came with the package.
    

  2. Install SwitchPath.
    

    
To learn how to install SwitchPath, see your SwitchPath Technical Reference Manual.
    

  3. Install an AG Connect board.
    

    
See Chapter 2 to learn how to install your board.
    

  4. Install an AG resource board.
    

    
To learn how to install an AG resource board, refer to the documentation that came with the board.
    

  5. Connect the boards to the MVIP bus cable.
