2.3.1 Switching Service

The Switching service provides functions for controlling MVIP switch blocks. See Chapter 4 for details of the Switching Service.

2.3.2 Voice Message Service

Any board supporting a Player/Recorder service.

The Voice Message service provides a set of functions for playing, recording, and editing voice messages. The Voice Message service is an integration service which uses a Player/Recorder device service to interface to the hardware. Refer to Chapter 5 for details of the Voice Message service.

Note: For CT Access 1.0, the ADI service provides the Player/Recorder functionality for the Voice Message service.
