5.1 Introduction
- The CT Access Voice Message service:
- Supports Natural MicroSystems VOX files, WAVE files and flat
(unformatted) files, and can be extended to support other formats.
- Provides more advanced functions that enable you to play a list of
concatenated messages and to assign message numbers to segments of an
open file or memory block.
- Works in conjunction with the ADI service playing and recording functions.
For example, the ADI service provides a compatible player/recorder. To use
the Voice Message service with the ADI service, open both services on the
same CTA context. Refer to Chapter 7 for more information about the ADI
Service playing and recording functions.
