4.1 Introduction

This chapter provides a comprehensive, alphabetically-ordered reference to the functions available through the NaturalFax API. Each function is explained using the following format. Any sections that are irrelevant for a particular function are omitted.

FunctionName

Description

A brief description of the function.

Prototype

Contains a prototype of the function.

Return Code FunctionName(type argument)

The Return Code type depends on the function.

FunctionName is the name of the function, which contains any number of arguments

type is the data type of the argument

argument is the placeholder for the argument

The prototype is followed by a listing of its arguments, including brief descriptions of each argument.

Return Values

Contains the return codes (SUCCESS or error values) expected from this function. When applicable, a reason might be provided explaining what might cause the error.

Details

Additional information about using this function is provided, such as when the function might be used, the appropriate calling sequences with other functions, etc.
