4.1 Introduction
- This chapter provides a comprehensive, alphabetically-ordered reference to the functions available through the NaturalFax API. Each function is explained using the following format. Any sections that are irrelevant for a particular function are omitted.
- FunctionName
Description
- A brief description of the function.
Prototype
- Contains a prototype of the function.
- Return Code FunctionName(type argument)
- The Return Code type depends on the function.
- FunctionName is the name of the function, which contains any number of arguments
- type is the data type of the argument
- argument is the placeholder for the argument
- The prototype is followed by a listing of its arguments, including brief descriptions of each argument.
Return Values
- Contains the return codes (SUCCESS or error values) expected from this function. When applicable, a reason might be provided explaining what might cause the error.
Details
- Additional information about using this function is provided, such as when the function might be used, the appropriate calling sequences with other functions, etc.
