3.3 Setting and Changing Speech Characteristics
The following commands modify the sound of text-to-speech output, and navigate within text buffers:
Function
Description
ttsSetGain
Sets the volume of NaturalText speech.
ttsSetPitch
Sets the pitch of NaturalText speech.
ttsSetSpeed
Sets the speed of NaturalText speech.
ttsJump
Jumps forward or backward a specified number of bytes in the buffered text input.
