Description

Sets the rate of speech on a specific text-to-speech context.

Prototype

DWORD ttsSetSpeed(CTAHD ctahd,
short speed)

speed Number of words spoken per minute.

Return Values

SUCCESSThe function executed successfully.
CTAERR_BAD_ARGUMENTThe speed setting is out of range.
CTAERR_INVALID_STATEText-to-speech is paused or stopping.

Details

This function establishes a new speed setting (in words per minute) for speech on the specified context. The default speed setting is 150 words per minute. Valid speed settings can range from 50 to 250 words per minute. Note: You cannot change speed settings while speech is paused on the specified context.
