ttsSpeak
Description
- Speaks text from a single memory-resident buffer.
Prototype
- DWORD ttsSpeak(CTAHD ctahd,
char* buffer)
- ctahd CT Access context handle returned by ctaCreateContext.
- buffer Pointer to a text buffer that the converter speaks. The buffer must be a null terminated text string.

Details
- This function speaks text from a text buffer held in host memory. Text from documents must be read into text buffers before being passed to ttsSpeak. These buffers must end with null terminated strings.
- Active speech can be paused or stopped with the functions ttsPause or ttsStop. ttsPause pauses speech until it is resumed with ttsResume. ttsStop interrupts speech and releases the current buffer.
Applications must not free or reuse the speech buffer until the TTSEVN_SPEAK_DONE event is returned.
