ppxCloseConnection

Description

Closes a connection.

Prototype

DWORD ppxCloseConnection ( PPXHD ppxhd )
ppxhd Connection handle returned by ppxCreateConnection or by ppxOpenConnection.

Return Values

SUCCESS
CTAERR_INVALID_HANDLEppxhd is not a valid connection handle.
CTAERR_OUT_OF_MEMORYUnable to allocate memory.
PPXERR_COMM_FAILUREProblems were encountered when communicating with the PPX server.

Events

None.

Details

This function closes a previously created connection. For unnamed connections, the resources associated with the connection are freed.
If the connection is unnamed, any listeners on the connection are returned to their default disabled states. The talker, if any, is disconnected. Any telephony bus timeslots being used by the connection are also freed by this call.
If the connection is named, ppxCloseConnection only releases the connection handle.
