TX Series Task List

The following table lists many of the task executables available for the TX boards. The table includes the file to download, the name of the task, the recommended priority of the task, and a brief description of each task. File Name Priority Description cpknnnn.lot none none TX 2000/TX 3000 communications processor kernel. diagnnnn.lot diag 2 Diagnostics and console command handler (specific task provided for each TX board type). debug.lot debug 3 Low level debugger. inf.lot inf 20 Alarm manager task. Writes alarms generated by protocol tasks to the PC hard drive. arp.lot arp 17 IP address (via Ethernet) resolution task etp.lot etp 25 Event tracer program. Allows various tasks to write trace records to the PC hard drive. mtp.lot mtp 10 SS7 MTP layers 1-3. isup.lot isup 11 SS7 ISUP task. sccp.lot sccp 12 SS7 SCCP task. tcap.lot tcap 13 SS7 TCAP task tup.lot tup 14 SS7 TUP task txmon.lot txmon 15 SS7 TX Monitor task mvip.lot mvip 4 MVIP configuration and control task. t1e1mgr.lot t1e1mgr 16 T1 and E1 configuration and control task. txroute.lot txroute 20 Routing configuration task. Provides access to the routing table on the board. icmp.lot Icmp 20 Internet control message protocol. The ICMP task is capable of responding to ICMP echo requests (the requests sent by ping).
