The
TX Series Utilities Manual
describes the TX series board utilities, and provides a list of commands for each utility.
1.2 Before You Begin
TX series software includes executable programs with source and makefiles for each utility.
Before you start the utilities, ensure that:
The TX series software is properly installed .
The TX board is executing correctly.
The TX board is properly connected to the network.
Refer to the TX board installation manual for operating system specific details regarding installation.

The following utilities are provided with the TX series software:
Program
Use this program to...
cpcon
Monitor the flow of data to and from TX board communication processors. This utility is an operator console run from the command line.
cplot
Load communications processor tasks.
vpdcfg
Configure virtual ports on TX boards.
tx32snap
Generate a core dump of data from the communications processor to the host processor.
txroute
Configure the routing table on the TX board.
