Name

tx32snap

Purpose

Provides a core dump of the TX3210 board communications processor to the host.
Caution:

Running tx32snap terminates any operations taking place on the TX3210. Close down any active TX tasks before running tx32snap.

Usage

-c boardnumber

TX3210 board number (1-8).

This command generates a non-maskable interrupt to the specified board, drops its kernel into a suspended state, and gets an image of all memory on its system.

Description

Command line program for providing a core dump from a specified communications processor to the host.

Procedure

To run tx32snap:

  1. From the command line, navigate to the nms\tektx\soft\util directory .

    
    
  2. Enter the following at the command line:

    
    tx32snap option
