NAI
Syntax
NAI= nai
Description
- Sets up NFAS groups and specifies the network access identifier (NAI) of a trunk. This number is used by an AG ISDN application to refer to the trunk. Include the statement in the
Trunk section describing the trunk.
- The statement is mandatory if the trunk section also contains an
NFAS_Group statement.
- The NAI of each trunk in an NFAS group must be unique. In addition, if a particular board supports the D-channel trunks for more than one NFAS group, the NAIs of all trunks in each of these groups must be unique. For more information about setting up NFAS groups, see the AG ISDN Installation Manual.
Note: If no DigitalMode statement is provided in ISDN configurations, an ISDN_BAD_NAI error may be returned - even if the NAI statement is correct. DigitalMode defaults to CAS.
