PCIbus
Syntax
PCIbus = busnum
Description
- Specifies the board's PCI location. Every PCI slot in the system is identified by a unique PCI bus and slot number. An AG PCI board is identified in the AG configuration file by specifying its bus and slot number.
- A PCI board's address and interrupt is automatically set by the system. This statement along with the
PCIslot statement simply assigns the board number to the physical board.
- The AG board locate utility, blocate, can be used to determine the PCI bus and slot assigned for all NMS PCI boards in the system. See Appendix C for details on the AG board locate utility.
- The
PCIbus statement is mandatory for PCI boards and is not allowed for ISA boards. ISA boards use Address to assign the board number.
