Address
Syntax
Address = base
Description
- Specifies the board's ISA bus address. Every AG board on the ISA bus must be assigned a unique address. An
Address statement is meaningful for exactly one board, and must be included in a board-specific section.
Note: A board's ISA address is set by DIP switches on the board. This statement assigns the board number to the physical board which has its switches set to the specified address.
- The base I/O address is a hexadecimal number.
- The
Address statement is mandatory for ISA boards, and is not allowed for PCI boards. PCI boards use PCIbus and PCIslot to assign the board number.
Example
Address = 2C0
