EnableMVIP

Syntax

EnableMVIP = YES | NO

Description

Specifies whether the current board(s) should be electrically connected to the MVIP-90 bus, H.100, or H.110 bus.

The following settings are valid for EnableMVIP:

EnableMVIP = NO

The following conditions take effect:

· Default connections are established to connect voice and signaling information to DSP resources on the AG board depending on the value specified with the DigitalMode statement (CAS, PRI, or RAW). A different set of default connections is set up for each mode. For more information about the default connections created for each board in CAS, PRI, or RAW mode, refer to the board's installation and developer's manual.

· Switching commands connecting to or from the MVIP90, H.100, or H.110 bus will fail.

EnableMVIP = YES

Idle patterns are initially sent to line interfaces. Because no default connections are made, all connections to line interfaces and DSP resources must be made by the application(s). If running ISDN, this includes connecting the HDLC controller to the appropriate line interface channel (for more information, refer to the AG ISDN For Natural Call Control Developer's Manual).

Note: The ClockRef statement setting should not be set to the following when EnableMVIP = NO:
