TCAPInitAPI

Description

Initializes the TCAP API for the calling application and registers the application with the TX Series device driver.

Prototype

S16 TCAPInitAPI (U8 board, U8 srcEnt, U8 srcInst )
board The TX Series board number to which the request is directed.
srcEnt The calling application's entity ID (see Section 2.1.2).
srcInst The calling application's instance ID (see Section 2.1.2).

Return Values

TCAP_SUCCESS
TCAP_BOARDThe specified board does not exist or has not been configured in the system.
TCAP_DRIVERAn error occurred accessing the CPI driver. See the CPI error section for information on determining the cause of the error.

Details

TCAPInitAPI must be called before any of the other TCAP API functions.
This function must be called once for each TX Series board with which the TCAP API is being used.
