TCAPInitMgmtAPI

Description

Initializes the management API and provides access to the TX Series device driver.

Prototype

S16 TCAPInitMgmtAPI (U8 board, U8 srcEnt, U8 srcInst)
board The TX Series board number to which this request is directed.
srcEnt The calling application's entity ID (see Section 2.1.2). If the same application uses both the transaction API and the management API, separate entity IDs must be specified when the two APIs are initialized.
srcInst The calling application's instance ID (see Section 2.1.2).

Return Values

TCAPM_SUCCESS
TCAPM_BOARDThe board number is out of range.
TCAPM_DRIVERAn error occurred accessing the driver.
TCAPM_TOOMANYToo many applications have inititalized the board concurrently.

Details

This function must be called before any other management API primitives are called.
