ISUPSuspendReq
Description
- Sends a SUSPEND message to the far exchange and starts the suspend timer T2.

- suspEvnt Pointer to the caller's suspend event structure containing all parameters (IEs) to be included in the message to the far exchange.
Return Values
Details
- If no RESUME or RELEASE message is received by the ISUP layer before the expiration of the T2 timer, the call is cleared in both directions by the ISUP layer.
- The value specified in the suInstId field will be passed on all subsequent events associated with this connection.
- The value for spInstId must be the spInstID value that was received from the ISUP layer in the connect indication event.
4.2 API Event Initialization Routines
- This section describes functions for the initialization of event structures in order to generate specific ISUP protocol messages. Each subsection describes the event initialization for a specific protocol message, and contains tables specifying the initialized event fields for each supported switch type. Table entries in boldface are mandatory ISUP parameters.
