TxT1E1Open

Description

Opens the T1/E1 manager on the specified TX board.

Prototype

short TxT1E1Open (TXBOARD_T board,
unsigned short swint)
board TX board number.
swint For DOS only, software interrupt assigned to TX driver for this board. This parameter is ignored for other PC operating systems.

Return Values

T1E1_NO_DRIVERTX driver not found or invalid interrupt number.
T1E1_OPEN_FAILOpening of T1/E1 manager failed.
T1E1_BAD_BOARDInvalid board number requested.

Details

If successful, a call to TxT1E1Open will return the specified TX board's handle number to be used in subsequent requests. It must be called before any of the other T1/E1 API routines for a particular board.
