TxSampleInput

Description

Retrieves the most recent input byte received on a particular switch input stream/timeslot.

Prototype

short TxSampleInput (short handle,
STREAM_T iStream,
TIMESLOT_T iTimeslot,
DATA_T iSample)
handle TX board number.
iStream Input stream number. For MVIP-90, must be between 0 and 15 for MVIP, 16 for T1-A, and 18 for T1-B. For MVIP-95, must be between 0 and 31 for H.100/H.110, 40 for T1-A, and 41 for T1-B.
iTimeslot Input timeslot number. For MVIP-90, must be between 0 and 31. For MVIP-95, must be between 0 and 127 for H.100/H.110, and between 0 and 31 for T1 interfaces.
iSample Address where the current value input from the stream/timeslot is returned to caller.

Return Values

SUCCESS
MVIP_INVALID_HANDLEThe specified handle is invalid.
MVIP_INVALID_STREAMOutput or source stream number out of range.
MVIP_INVALID_TIMESLOTOutput or source timeslot number out of range.
MVIP_NO_RESOURCESAdapter not present on CP.

Details

The data returned by TxSampleInput may change every 125 microseconds, and thus may not be of much relevance by the time the application gets the data.
