Disconnect Request

Layer 3 -> MTP 2

Description

The DISCONNECT REQUEST causes MTP 2 to bring down the associated link. Data may be lost.

Format

Service Provider ID MTP 2's reference number for this link on this TX board. Must be 0-15.

Reason The reason for the disconnect. Possible values are:

   0  Management request (drops layer 2
      only)
   10 Disconnect level 1 also (may drop 
      modem signals, reset transmitter and
      receiver, etc.)
