Removing the Software
Introduction
- This chapter lists procedures for removing the AG Connect software under the following operating systems:
Windows NT Software Removal
- To remove AG Connect software from a Windows NT system:
- Click Start. Select Settings, and then Control Panel.
The Control Panel Folder appears.
- Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
The Add/Remove Programs dialog box appears.
- In the list of packages in the dialog box, select AG Connect.
To remove all Natural Access products at once, select Natural Microsystems Natural Access.
- Click Remove.
The software is removed from the system.
UnixWare Software Removal
- To remove AG Connect software from a UnixWare system:
- Access a command prompt, and log in as root.
- Direct the pkgrm utility to remove the
agcx package. To do so, enter:
pkgrm agcx
pkgrm removes the package. The following message appears:
Rebuild the kernel now? (y/n)
- Enter y.
The kernel build proceeds. The following message appears:
Do you want this kernel to boot by default? (y/n)
- Enter y.
The following message appears:
Do you want the kernel environment rebuilt? (y/n)
- Enter y.
pkgrm completes its tasks, and terminates.
- When pkgrm terminates, shut down your system, and reboot.
Solaris Software Removal
- To remove AG Connect software from a Solaris system:
- Access a command prompt, and log in as root.
- Direct the pkgrm utility to remove the
agcx package. To do so, enter:
pkgrm agcx
pkgrm removes the package.
