TxX25FileDefault

Description

Sets up the TX API Management packet as a Define file (I/O Create) packet with all default values.

Prototype

short TxX25FileDefault (TXMNGPKT *req)

req Pointer to packet to be set as default Define file.

Return Values

TX API completion code.

Details

Applications should call TxX25FileDefault before calling any of the other File definition functions to begin from a well-known base definition.

TxX25FileDefault assumes that the packet provided is already a properly initialized TXMNGPKT. Applications should call TxApiPktInit for any management packet before using that packet with any other functions of the TX API set.

Applications should call TxX25FileDefault when a packet is to be used to create an X.25 File for the first time or when returning to X.25 File defaults. It is not necessary to call TxX25FileDefault between separate File creates. Applications should only call TxX25FileDefault when the given packet is to be used for File creation for the first time or when the application wants to return to all File default values.
