Removing the Software


Introduction

This chapter lists a procedure for removing the BX 3000/DPNSS software under Windows NT.

Note: Before removing the BX 3000/DPNSS software, ensure there are no applications running which access BX 3000 boards or use the DPNSS service.

Removing the Software from Your System

To remove the BX 3000/DPNSS software from your Windows NT system:

  1. Log on as a member of the Administrators group.

    
    
  2. Click on Start, and select Settings-->Control Panel.

    
    The Control Panel folder window appears.
  3. Select Add/Remove Programs.

    
    The Add/Remove Programs dialog box appears.
  4. In the menu in the lower half of the dialog box, select "DPNSS Service for CT Access."

    
    
  5. Click Add/Remove.

    
    Windows NT begins removing the BX 3000/DPNSS software from the system.
  6. Follow the prompts as they appear.
