Description

Physically detects boards.

Return Values

SUCCESS

OAMERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Function is not supported by this plug-in.
OAMERR_SERVER_NOT_FOUND
The Natural Access server (ctdaemon) is not available. Occurs if the ctdaemon is not running or if you attempt to use the OAM service in Library mode.
OAMERR_SERVER_NOT_RUNNING
The OAM Supervisor is not available. This error will occur if the OAM Supervisor has not completed its initialization, is shutting down, or has been temporarily suspended using oamShutdown or oamRestart.

Details

This function physically detects the boards in a system, and stores all found board names in the Supervisor keyword DetectedBoards[x]. This function does not create managed objects. However, boards detected by this function may already have managed objects.
In addition to the return values previously listed, this function may return board type-specific values not given here. For more information about possible board errors, see your board-specific documentation.
Some board plug-ins may not support this operation.
